Loyal fans of the actress are calling for that a person who jumped a fence and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video depicts the Australian man bypassing media personnel and charging at Grande while the actors made its way down a promenade accompanied by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was due to be present on the next day. It is not clear if he was charged.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram profile contains videos of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last December.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a punishable act," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Fans Voice Worry Over Grande's Safety

Numerous supporters criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented another response on Instagram.

Some supporters also faulted event staff at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals called for online networks to ban Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande appeared shocked when she was approached by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.
